I didn't realize how hard working a
simple beige top could be. I really wanted to wear this
skirt with a sage green top. But I have every other shade of green except sage. Even ode green would have been acceptable. As I was going through my closet, I realized I have two other skirts that would work with a sage green top as well. I guess I have to go fabric shopping. But only for 1.5 yds. of sage green knit fabric. I promise I will not be tempted. I will stay focused.
Today is the second day of wearing no black. It's not as difficult as it may seem, since like Carol, I always have prints, some other eclectic mix going on. But my wardrobe is seriously lacking in the basics. Like a white shirt! I need to add that to my list of things to sew. ASAP! It may be time to cleanse to palate, so to speak. Reassess my wardrobe. I guess there is something to be said for the building blocks of a true working wardrobe.

Would you believe I just last night cut out the Kwik Sew version of this top in a green that is a little brighter than sage? Today I'm wearing bright orange and caramel. It's actually very easy to have no black at all! I love the print in your skirt, too.
What a glorious print on that skirt!
That's a great outfit. I love the stacks of bangles!
