Paper Dolls

I spent the entire weekend sorting my patterns. I finally have a good selection of what I want to work with. But now I'm jaded. It's like decision overload. When the fashion magazines, news reports, podcasts, and yes, blogs, get to be too much I play with my paper dolls. No, I haven't cut them out, but I love to look at the pictures, in all of their simplicity. After I've visited with Schiap, Coco, Oscar and Ralph, hobnobbed with Fath, Paquin, Oleg and Rudi and enjoyed tea with the Duke and Duchess, I feel refreshed. Things look newer. Ideas become clearer. Sometimes, you have to cleanse your palette.

I feel pattern overload, too! It has been such a blessing to get my dress form and drape a little with it -- breaks me out of my pattern overload. I like your idea of paper dolls! I will have to try that sometime.
